No Servers Yet

Woke up a bit later than usual, although everyone seemed to have done the same; we all met up in the breakfast room.  Another nice warm day in Lagos, a little bit of cloud cover and rain forecast over the next 2-3 days.  My favorite morning meal at the moment is the chef special, omelet with everything minus the meat and loads of chilies.  Add to that some fruit and yoghurt.  That pretty much lasts me for the whole day.

I walked into the office and started to setup my laptop but unfortunately I was finding it quite difficult to concentrate - the servers had still not arrived.  Biodun suggested that we head over to Computer Warehouse, at the Octagon building to talk to one of the managers.  After a brief discussion he assured us that they would be arriving at 2pm today.

2pm came around rather quickly, but there was still no sign of the servers.  By 4pm I decided to head back to the hotel.  I asked Biodun to give me a call if they turn up before 6pm so that we could unpack them.  I wasn’t feeling too well – I think I must have picked up my first Nigerian cold/flu.  When I hit the bed I didn’t get up till 3am the next morning.
